his pieces embody everything I love about animation. making the inbetween visible.
I saw pictures of some of these monuments at an exhibition in Maribor (Slovenia) alongside plans and drawings of other buildings of that time. Growing up in East Germany, the esthetics are familiar to me. I have to admit the color grey was something I despised as a child being surrounded by big blocks of concrete. everything always tasted of dust. coldness bouncing off the walls.
but in the past years I’ve developed a strange obsession for these kind of places. MORE PICTURES
